Jane Fox Hipple was born in Springfield, Pennsylvania. She earned an undergraduate degree in fine art from Washington University in Saint Louis, and completed her graduate studies in art at Tulane. In 2009 Ms. Hipple attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Her work as been exhibited at Saltworks Contemporary Art Gallery, Atlanta, GA; Artspace NC, Raleigh NC; The Barbara Walters Art Gallery, Bronxville, NY; Daily Operation, Brooklyn, NY; DODGEgallery, New York, NY; The Mills Gallery, Boston Center for the Arts, Boston, MA; Des Lee Gallery, St. Louis, MI; Sardine, Brooklyn, NY; New Art Center, Newton, MA; and Coop Gallery, Nashville, TN. Reviews of her work have been published in Artforum, Burnaway, TimeOut New York, New American Paintings Blog, Artcards Review, Whitehot Magazine and The L Magazine, among others. She lives and works in Montgomery, Alabama.
